UPSKYDOWN Lounge

This permanent installation was built because of my desire to have a beautiful and inspirational place to rest and play between the many main stages of the huge festival that is Shambhala. This is the first installation of its kind at this 25k+ person festival. A zone created with the sole focus of sitting back and connecting with others.

I designed a world where you can lay in the sky, comforted by the clouds and look at up a garden above you. Shaded from the midday heat and illuminated at night, this space become a grounding zone, a cuddle puddle and a meeting place for so many throughout the week long event.,
